My beautiful boy,

Now that I have come out of the haze of your first few weeks, I wanted to begin documenting your comings and goings both for your Dad and I to have but also as a sort of love letter to you.

It feels like just yesterday I looked into your eyes for the first time and had my heart burst out of my chest. I had read about the overwhelming love and bond that is felt for your children instantly but it was quite a sensation to feel like I could literally explode from it!

I love watching you figure out your surroundings and learn new things. I love how the little things you do are really the most special. I love getting to know your personality and simply, I love being your Mom.
